MAKING THE MUSIC LAST LONGER
We enjoy Girgarre Moosic Muster and Jigarre Jammin’ so much that some of us have got together to make the music last longer! These groups perform around the area, although some are currently in recess due to the pandemic.
The Pure Drop
The Pure Drop plays songs from the Australian and Celtic traditions of hardship, love or murder and mayhem, plus some more light-hearted themes. A group of seven very active retirees, available for Aged Care, Fundraising concerts, Morning and Afternoon Melodies. Lively and loud. Wallace on fiddle, harmonica; Irene on guitar, accordion; Pete on harp, guitar, mandolin; Geoff on fiddle; Bernadine on baritone ukulele; Lyn on bass ukulele, mandolin.

Pete plays harps, large and small. Sweet, sweet melodies on the instrument of angels. Soothing to the soul.

J-Ukes
This fun group meets in the Supper Room of the Girgarre Memorial Hall, Morgan Crescent. Beginners to advanced and every stage in between, our aim is to have fun and learn something with other people who share our passion for our small instrument. Soprano, concert, baritone, tenor, bass, we have them all. We come from a wide area around Girgarre.
We chat, play, learn, laugh and have a cuppa every Wednesday, from 1.30pm to 4pm. If you would like to join us, contact Lyn on 0417 931 417 or just turn up, you’ll be most welcome! Cost: $3.

As a community group we support the learning needs of ukulele players of all abilities within the Bendigo area, providing members with a safe, inclusive and supportive environment to learn and advance their ukulele craft.

CLUB TIMES:
Monday Nights: 7:30pm-9:30pm. We also offer an 'Early Strummers' program from 7:00pm-7:30pm on Monday nights for beginners only.
