ABOUT US
The Girgarre Community Cottage (GCC) is a safe space that has been providing fun, laughter, friendship and learning for 30 years and is looking forward to the next 30 and more! Join classes, learn skills & access holiday activities.
OUR MISSION
The Community Centre exists to help, support and encourage people of this rural area to enrich their lives by developing friendships and new learning skills.
OUR CHILD SAFE COMMITMENT
GCC are committed to creating an environment for children and young people to be safe and feel safe. We commit to using best practice standards in the recruitment, screening, and employment of GCC employees and volunteers so they will not harm, abuse or exploit children and young people who are involved in our programs, services and facilities.

UKELELE MATES (GUM)
This fun group comes together and fills the area with beautiful music.
The group is suited to both new and experienced players of ukulele and would love to include you in their next get together. GUM also supports the running of the community car

GREEN THUMBS NURSERY
If you have a passion for plants we would love you to drop in on Sale Days. Green Thumbs also sell Biomix, available at Girgarre Market.

SENIORS GROUP
All Seniors welcome. Activities include in-house games & puzzles.
WHEN: Tue 10.45am - 2.pm
Join them for lunch on the 1st Tue of the month, then fortnightly.
Guest speakers, music & cultural excursions, bowling, movies and eatery outings are also facilitated.

WORDS ON WHEELS
Words on Wheels (WOW) get together for a meal and activities.

QUILTERS & PATCHWORKERS
Now in their 30th year, the Quilters have around 35 regular members who meet in the Girgarre Memorial Hall Supper Room

CARPET BOWLERS
Carpet Bowls is a fun, friendly and accessible activity for all ages.
This group meets in the Girgarre Memorial Hall for both casual and competiton Bowls.

Girgarre Playgroup is free for the community. It is run by the
Community Cottage and held at
the Kindergarten premises.
All preschool children (and their parents) are encouraged to attend.
